The Roller Grill GES 80 bakes cylindrical waffles on a stick that are thicker than the corn-shaped waffles from the GES 23, which makes it possible to prepare not only sweet but also savoury versions, for example with ham or cheese mixed into the batter. The unit has a cast-iron mould with four cylindrical imprints, so four waffles on sticks are baked in a single cycle.
The plates are fixed, so the appliance does not need to be turned over during baking. Four golden waffles bake at 270°C in about 2 minutes 30 seconds, giving an output of up to 96 waffles per hour. The appliance works with pre-cooked frozen waffles, frozen dough pieces, and fresh homemade batter.
