Student desks

Sizing by height: size groups 1–6
Ukraine's sanitary regulation for secondary schools (Ministry of Health order №2205, 25.09.2020) requires furniture to be matched to pupils' height. Functional dimensions and safety are governed by the current DSTU EN 1729-1 (dimensions) and DSTU EN 1729-2 (safety). The practical selection system uses six size groups with colour coding; desk and chair share the same number:
- No.1 — height 1000–1150 mm, orange mark, worktop height 460 mm;
- No.2 — 1150–1300 mm, violet, 520 mm;
- No.3 — 1300–1450 mm, yellow, 580 mm;
- No.4 — 1450–1600 mm, red, 640 mm;
- No.5 — 1600–1750 mm, green, 700 mm;
- No.6 — over 1750 mm, blue, 760 mm.
The range includes fixed-height desks and height-adjustable models by size group, with or without a shelf, for classrooms, subject rooms and lecture halls.
Standards compliance
We supply furniture that meets the general technical requirements of DSTU GOST 22046 for educational furniture: safe materials, rounded worktop edges (radius 10–30 mm) and durable finishes. GOST 11015-93 (desks) and GOST 11016-93 (chairs) applied until recently; from 2026 the reference has shifted to DSTU EN 1729, while the size-group and colour-coding system is retained.
