Student desks and sets
Student desks and desk-and-chair sets are the basis of a healthy workplace for a pupil. Desk-and-chair set by height
The sanitary regulation (Ministry of Health order №2205, 25.09.2020) requires furniture to be matched to pupils' height. Dimensions and safety are set by the current DSTU EN 1729-1 (dimensions) and DSTU EN 1729-2 (safety). Desk and chair are chosen by the same size-group number and colour code:
- No.1 — height 1000–1150 mm, orange (desk 460 / seat 260 mm);
- No.2 — 1150–1300 mm, violet (520 / 300 mm);
- No.3 — 1300–1450 mm, yellow (580 / 340 mm);
- No.4 — 1450–1600 mm, red (640 / 380 mm);
- No.5 — 1600–1750 mm, green (700 / 420 mm);
- No.6 — over 1750 mm, blue (760 / 460 mm).
Adjustable desks cover several size groups at once — convenient for classes with a changing roster and for NUS.
Standards compliance
We offer desks that meet the general requirements of DSTU GOST 22046 for educational furniture: rounded edges (radius 10–30 mm), a tilted worktop for comfortable writing and safe certified materials. GOST 11015-93 (desks) and GOST 11016-93 (chairs) applied until recently; from 2026 the reference is DSTU EN 1729, with the size-group and colour system retained.
