2-tier bed without mattress

A 2-tier bed (article 0834) is a rational solution for preschool institutions that seek to fit more sleeping areas without increasing the bedroom footprint. The product consists of two tiers of pull-out construction: during daytime sleep the lower sleeping area slides out from under the upper one, and afterwards hides again, freeing up the group's space. This is convenient for rooms where a single room combines the functions of a bedroom and a play area.

The frame is made of 16 mm laminated chipboard, and the sleeping surfaces are reinforced with 7 mm plywood for resistance to daily load. The edges are finished with PVC, which reliably protects them from chipping and moisture and makes the furniture safe for children. The total weight of the structure is 49 kg, which makes it stable yet suitable for moving by staff. The sleeping areas are designed for standard children's mattresses 1400×600 mm, which are ordered separately.

How is space saved in the group? The lower sleeping area slides out only for the duration of sleep, and the rest of the day the structure is folded and takes up minimal space, freeing up the room for activities and play.

Which colours can be chosen? Three options are available: blue with yellow, lime with yellow and plain beech — for bright or restrained styling.

Can the bed be rearranged? Yes, despite the two-tier construction, the weight of 49 kg allows staff to move the product during cleaning or reorganising.
