Fairy-Tale Express Kids Wall Unit, Element 1

Element 1 is the "locomotive" of the Fairy-Tale Express kids wall unit and the largest module of the series: 1210 mm wide and 1450 mm high. It combines three storage types at once — open shelves, compartments with doors and drawers — so it can replace several separate cabinets in a kindergarten group room or a primary school play area. This is the element the composition usually starts with, and carriages are added over time.

The body, shelves, doors and drawer fronts are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard; the back panel is white single-sided 2.5 mm HDF. The facade is edged with 1 mm PVC banding, other parts with 0.5 mm aluminium-coloured banding. The brightest decor in the series — themed MDF trims in red, yellow, blue, white and black — creates the recognisable image of a fairy-tale locomotive. Board colour: white, yellow, lime or red.
