Children's Wall Unit "Fairy-Tale Express" Element No. 7

Element No. 7 is the widest module of the Fairy-Tale Express series: 1200 mm of open shelving shaped like a carriage of a fairy-tale train. It is the base "platform" of the composition that carries the play theme of the series: carriage sections line up one after another along the wall, forming a train. The open doorless construction keeps all materials visible and accessible, which is convenient for book corners, construction zones, and toy shelves in a kindergarten group.

The body and shelves are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard; the back panel is white single-sided 2.5 mm HDF. The facade is edged with 1 mm PVC banding, the other parts with 0.5 mm "aluminium"-coloured banding. Themed MDF overlays in red and white — wheels, windows, and carriage decor — add recognisability. Body colour options: white, yellow, or lime.

How much space does this element need? The module is 1200 mm wide and 350 mm deep; for a composition with other "carriages" we calculate the wall-unit length for the specific room.

Is the section stable without wall fixing? The module is wide and low (1130 mm), which adds stability, but in children's institutions we recommend fixing furniture to the wall.

Can body colours be combined within one train? Yes, "carriages" in white, yellow, and lime match each other and make the composition livelier.
