Open section No. 4 of the Flower Meadow wall unit is a mid-height 1247 mm shelving unit for visual storage in a group room. The open shelves keep books, toys and didactic materials in sight: the child sees where everything is and learns to put things back. Shaped cut-outs in the form of flower meadow elements fit the shelving into the series' shared storyline.
The structure is based on a body and shelves of 16 mm laminated chipboard; rigidity comes from a back panel of white single-sided 2.5 mm HDF. The facade edges are finished with 1 mm PVC banding, the rest with 0.5 mm banding. The section is produced in three board colours: cream, yellow or lime, allowing a calm pastel or livelier composition without overloading the interior.
