The Kids Hospital is a set of three elements for medical-themed role play: a reception desk with shelves and doors, a toy bed for doll "patients" and a stool for the little doctor. Such a corner helps children learn social roles through play, eases the fear of visiting a real doctor and develops speech and imagination.
All elements are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard in a red/cream colour combination. The bed headboards and visible edges are sealed with 1 mm PVC banding, other parts with 0.5 mm; the desk's back panel is white 2.5 mm HDF. Safety is thought through in detail: the bed headboards are rounded, the stool corners are smoothed, and the desk doors feature a ball-shaped furniture knob that is easy for a child's hand.
