Section No. 1 is the basic open module of the Little Animals kids wall unit and the most affordable way to start equipping a group room. Two shelves create three levels of open storage for books, toys and play sets that children reach on their own. Compositions are usually built from such sections first, with closed modules and corner elements of the series added over time.
The body and shelves are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard; rigidity is provided by a back panel of white single-sided 2.5 mm HDF. The facade is edged with 1 mm PVC banding, the other parts with 0.5 mm banding. The board colour is cream: a neutral shade that matches any colour combination of the other Little Animals sections and does not overload the group interior.

At what height are the shelves? The section is 950 mm high overall, so all three storage levels are reachable for preschool and early school-age children without help.
Is wall fixing required? The section is stable on its own, but in childcare facilities we recommend fixing cabinet furniture to the wall — a standard safe-use practice.
