Sea Adventures Wall Unit, Element No.8

Element No.8 of the Sea Adventures series is a narrow open module only 360 mm wide that serves as a connecting section between larger elements of the wall unit or as a stand-alone shelving unit where every centimetre counts. Open shelves give children free access to materials — convenient for activity centres under the New Ukrainian School concept and for kindergarten play areas, where the teacher needs to see the contents of the shelves at a glance.

Unlike the front-panel modules of the series, element No.8 is made without photo print: the laconic body in pearl artisan beech serves as a neutral pause between the bright "sea" sections and does not compete with them visually. The body is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard with 0.5 mm PVC edging — board of this thickness keeps its geometry even with densely loaded shelves. The 2.5 mm HDF back panel adds rigidity to the structure.

Can element No.8 be used without other modules of the series? Yes, it is a fully fledged separate shelving unit; at the same time, it works best as a connecting section between the photo-print elements of Sea Adventures.

Why is this element without photo print? It is designed as a neutral section: the calm pearl artisan beech colour balances the bright themed fronts of the neighbouring modules and makes the set more affordable.

Does the module need to be fixed to the wall? For narrow tall sections in children's rooms we recommend wall fixing — it prevents tipping during active play.
