Old Town Wall Unit No.3

The Old Town wall unit No.3 is a tall open section with nine shelves from the Old Town series, styled after the facades of old townhouses. The slim body, only 320 mm deep, saves floor space, making the module easy to place in kindergarten group rooms, classrooms and recreation areas where every metre counts. The shelves hold books, board games, toys, children's artwork and portfolios.

The section is made of 16 mm laminated chipboard in a calm cream shade with a 2.5 mm HDF back panel. Edges are finished with 1 mm and 0.5 mm PVC banding, which extends the board's service life under intensive use. The nine shelves vary in height to suit items of different formats — from low boxes to albums and folders. Assembly uses minifix fittings and euro screws, producing a rigid, stable structure.

Can the section be used separately from the full Old Town wall unit? Yes, element No.3 is self-sufficient and works as a standalone shelving unit; it can later be extended with other elements of the series.

Does the unit need to be fixed to the wall? For tall, narrow sections in children's rooms we recommend wall fixing — a standard safe-use practice.

What is convenient to store on shelves of varying height? The roomy lower shelves suit boxes with construction sets and games, while the middle and upper shelves hold books, folders and display materials.
