Element No. 4 of the Mysterious Universe wall unit is a narrow tall cabinet, 356x400x1400 mm, supplied straight away with Gratnells N1 series trays included. The trays sit on plastic runners and pull out completely: a child takes their tray of materials to the desk and returns it after the lesson — a familiar routine for NUS spaces and kindergartens.
The body, shelves, and doors are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard: the body in milk oak, the facade in cream. The facade is edged with 1 mm PVC banding, the remaining parts with 0.5 mm; the back panel is white 2.5 mm HDF. The space-themed image is applied with UV inks onto the chipboard and coated with lacquer, so the facade withstands abrasion, minor damage, and wet cleaning. Fastening: minifix fittings and euro screws.
- Overall dimensions: 356x400x1400 mm

Together with the bench and the other elements of the series, the cabinet forms a complete Mysterious Universe wall unit for a group or classroom.
Why trays instead of regular shelves? A tray pulls out completely and moves to the desk, so each child's or activity's materials are stored separately and do not mix.
Does the cabinet match the other series elements? Yes, it is designed in the unified Mysterious Universe palette — milk oak with cream — and joins the other modules.
