The Birdie Compact lifting device leaves space for the user to move, and allows the patient to be lifted and moved into bed, out of bed, into a wheelchair or even onto the floor. The lift can be folded and unfolded easily without any additional tools. It can also be taken apart into two parts, again without any tools.
Space for moving the user is maintained even in the highest position of the lift. The patient can be turned. Care staff can put the patient into bed or seat them in a wheelchair much more easily. The user's knees are now positioned away from the lift's drive. The lifting devices are fitted with automatic latches.
