This model is intended for users who need a seat with special characteristics. The Rea Azalea Base has space at the rear of the seat for fitting wider seating systems on smaller frames.
Because there are many balancing options, the chair is easier to push. Another key feature of the Base model is the Tilt in Space weight-shift mechanism. It has all the advantages of the standard Rea Azalea models. In addition, the Azalea Base can be used with all the accessories available for the other Rea Azalea models (except luggage supports).
Fitting a seat of the required configuration.
The Rea Azalea Base is designed to take a seat with practically any characteristics, thanks to the extra space at the rear of the frame under the seat and the adjustment options. The backrest angle is adjusted with a tightening screw, which secures the seat properly. The frame tubes are rounded, which simplifies mounting the seat brackets. The seat width can be adjusted at the armrests and footrests, and the seat depth is set with the telescopic frame. These features make it possible to fit seats of very different shapes in the Rea Azalea.
