The Active 2 mattress can be used in hospitals, nursing homes and care homes for people with disabilities, as well as for home care. It has an opening for air to be fed under the layer of porous foam in the mattress, which changes the relief of its surface. In static mode it works as an orthopaedic mattress. If the patient needs to be switched to dynamic lying mode, a pump is simply connected to the mattress, which pumps in air and turns it into a mattress with a changing surface relief. As a result, the patient does not need to be moved to a second mattress.
Digitally controlled pump.
The air fed into the mattress by the digitally controlled pump changes the surface relief of the mattress every ten minutes, at a very slow pace.
Stretchable, vapour-permeable cover.
The mattress cover stretches in different directions, adapting to the relief of the upper surface of the mattress and preventing creases from forming.
