Invacare ScanBetaNG paediatric beds come in three sizes for children aged 3 to 12.
There are no gaps larger than 6 cm at the sides or in the mattress support.
All beds in the range come with a handset that has lockable functions to prevent unintended use. The functions cover both the mattress platform and the side sections.
Configuration.
The mattress platforms for the three standard sizes were designed on the basis of anthropometric analysis. Depending on needs, the mattress platform can be fitted with an electric or a manual drive. Many side section options are available (fixed side sections, opening panels, etc.).
Ergonomics.
Height is adjustable from 300 to 850 mm, so the child can get into and out of bed easily when needed. For carers, the bed provides features such as a central brake (option), height adjustment and a lockable handset.
