The frame is made from a fully welded cold-rolled tube with a 25x25x1.2 mm profile, with a cross reinforcement bar in the centre typical of this reinforced version. The mattress base consists of 34 beech slats, 53 mm wide and 8 mm thick, spaced 55 mm apart — the slatted base flexes under load, follows the mattress contour and extends its service life, while the gaps between slats allow air to circulate underneath. The legs are height-adjustable, letting the bed be levelled on an uneven floor.
