The frame is made of solid beech — a dense, durable wood that can be finished with clear or coloured oil, clear or coloured varnish, or white or ivory paint. The sleeping areas use beech slats for orthopedic support and mattress ventilation. On request, the bed can be fitted with two additional pull-out drawers for storage.
