This demonstration fume cabinet is designed for chemistry classrooms in schools, where the teacher runs experiments in front of the class and needs a safe workstation with a sink, ventilation and power outlets. The cabinet is built from three sections — lower, middle and upper — each serving its own purpose.
The lower section has two panel-door compartments: the left one houses plumbing for draining water and chemical solutions from the sink, and the right one holds two shelves; the panel above the doors is fitted with three electrical outlets. The middle section is a frame with glazed panel walls, and the glass panel on the teacher's side lifts up. The lower horizontal work surface of this section is finished in plastic laminate with a beech wood texture; a cutout on the left holds a square 250x250 mm ceramic sink with a tap, and the upper horizontal panel has three ventilation openings. The middle section's frame is made from solid beech wood, while other elements are 16 mm "beech" chipboard, emission class E1, with edges finished in 1 mm and 0.50 mm PVC edging. Overall dimensions are 1044x700x2240 mm.
