The 77140 fume cabinet is designed for laboratory work in physics and chemistry classrooms involving reagents that release harmful vapours. It consists of an upper extraction section with viewing panels and a lower cabinet for storing materials — all necessary equipment is built into one functional unit.
The body is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard, while the worktop and protective rim are made of chemically resistant HPL plastic. Edges of wood-based elements are finished with PVC banding: visible parts 1.0 mm, hidden parts 0.5 mm. The upper section houses an extraction duct with forced ventilation via a DOMOVENT 150 VKO fan (Ø150 mm opening) for effective gas removal. The work zone is lit by two Accento Lighting AC-AL605 LED fixtures, 9 W each. Circuit safety is provided by a VIKO 1C 16A circuit breaker with emergency shut-off.
The front features a lift frame with clear acrylic (Plexiglas) panels that slide on guides and lock with cam latches, improving work safety and resistance to mechanical damage. The worktop has a protective rim against spills, and the work zone includes a sink with a tap and three moisture-protected, grounded sockets with protective covers; wiring uses PVS 3x1.5 cable in protective cable channels. A lower cabinet with two doors completes the set, and adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled.
