The bed measures 956 mm wide, 2064 mm long and 1550 mm high, with 1000 mm clearance between the tiers; the sleeping area measures 900x2000 mm. It consists of metal side-rail frames, a ladder, a guardrail and bed bases. The top tier has a metal guardrail to prevent falls during sleep. The metal parts are made of 60x10x1.5 mm rectangular tube and round tube with diameters of 32x1.2 mm, 25x1.2 mm and 16x1.2 mm, with a protective decorative powder coating. The side rails are fixed to the bed bases with screws through pre-drilled holes, while the guardrail and ladder are fixed with a cross-section tie screw. Plastic end caps on the frame legs protect the floor.
