The gyroscope, or "Anti-Collision" system, is fitted to the frame of a dual-motor height-adjustable desk. It improves workplace safety in offices, executive rooms and classrooms where electric desks are regularly switched between sitting and standing positions.
The gyroscope performs an anti-collision function: while the frame is rising or lowering automatically, the system monitors for obstacles in the path of the legs and stops the mechanism, preventing damage to the desk or equipment and protecting users from injury. The device is compatible only with dual-motor frames.
