School Set, Group 4-7: Tilt-Adjustable Desk and Chair with HPL

The school set for groups 4–7 with a tilt-adjustable desk and an HPL-finished chair is the top configuration of a student workstation for middle and senior grades. It combines the two flagship options of the range: an ergonomic desktop tilting from 0° to 16° for correct posture, and a wear-resistant HPL finish on the seat and backrest that endures years of intensive use and regular wet cleaning.

The desk has a two-section desktop: the part on the student's side tilts via a height-adjuster-type mechanism in steps of up to 3° (positions 0°, 3°, 5°, 7°, 9°, 12°, 14°, 16°) with safety stops, while the horizontal section carries a cup hole, a pencil tray and holes for a book stand. The knock-down frame of flat-oval tubes 50×30, 38×20 and 30×15 mm with a d25 mm crossbar adjusts in height from 640 to 820 mm using a through tie with a cap nut that cannot work loose; bag hooks are fitted on both sides. The T-frame chair has a generous 400×400 mm seat and a 400×200 mm backrest of 8.5–9.5 mm bent-glued plywood under 0.4–0.5 mm HPL plastic; the seat height sets to four positions from 380 to 510 mm and the seat depth is also adjustable. Colour growth-group markings on both frames are visible through windows in the uprights.

The set meets sanitary requirements for educational furniture and is optimal for purchases planned for a long service life: the HPL finish noticeably postpones the next furniture renewal. How does this set differ from the same one without HPL? The chair here has its seat and backrest covered with 0.4–0.5 mm HPL plastic: the surface does not scratch, does not absorb moisture and withstands disinfection, so under heavy use it outlasts varnished plywood.

Why does a student need a tilting desktop? A 7–12° angle while reading and writing reduces head tilt and strain on the neck and eyes; eight positions from 0° to 16° let you match the angle to the task, and the stops keep adjustment safe.

How do we calculate the number of sets per class by growth groups? Both items adjust across groups 4–7, so no separate sizes are needed for different students — order one set per workstation and set the heights by the markings.
