School Set on Round Tube, Group 4-6: Desk and Chair

The round-tube school set for groups 4–6 consists of a student desk with a shelf and a T-frame chair of varnished plywood. It is the most affordable complete student workstation in the line-up: a proven design with no extra mechanisms, matched round-tube frames and the natural texture of wood make the set an optimal choice for bulk purchases for a class or a school on a limited budget.

The desk is assembled on a round steel tube frame d25/d32 mm with a powder polymer coating; the height adjusts to three positions from 640 to 760 mm, with growth-group markings on the frame. The rounded-corner desktop is 18 mm laminated chipboard with 1 mm PVC edging; the screen and shelf are 16 mm laminated chipboard. The chair has a 380×360 mm seat and a 380×200 mm backrest of 8.5–9.5 mm bent-glued plywood finished with a clear water-based lacquer — no harsh smell or harmful fumes. The seat and back corners are rounded, the seat depth is adjustable, and the height sets within 380–460 mm using screws through the frame holes with a plastic transition bushing. Plastic end caps on both items protect the floor.

The set meets sanitary requirements for educational furniture and is convenient for public procurement: one specification line covers a complete student workstation. Is the lacquer on the seat and backrest safe? Yes, a clear water-based lacquer is used — it has no harsh smell, is suitable for children's and educational spaces and preserves the natural look of the plywood.

How does this set differ from the HPL version? The chair here is varnished plywood without a plastic finish, so the set costs less; if very intensive use or frequent disinfection is expected, consider the HPL version.

Is the set easy to maintain at school? Yes: the structures are knock-down, the height is reset with an ordinary wrench using the frame markings, the chair seat additionally adjusts in depth, and the powder-coated frames are easy to wash.
