School Set on Square Tube No. 4-6: Double Desk and 2 T-Frame HPL Chairs

An upgraded version of the popular desk-and-chairs set on a square-tube frame: here the chair seats and backrests are faced with HPL laminate built for years of intensive classroom use. The shelf-free double desk and both T-frame chairs adjust across height groups No. 4–6, making the set equally suitable for primary and middle school.

The 0.4–0.5 mm HPL layer is bonded to 8.5–9.5 mm bent plywood, creating a dense surface resistant to scratches, moisture and frequent detergent cleaning — exactly what furniture under a daily sanitation regime requires. Desk and chair frames are 25×25 and 20×20×1.2 mm square tube with powder enamel; height is set with bolts through frame holes fitted with plastic bushings, and seat depth is adjustable too. The rounded-corner worktop is 18 mm laminated chipboard (1 mm PVC edging), the front panel is 16 mm chipboard (0.5 mm PVC), and all tube ends are closed with plastic caps.

How does this set differ from the lacquered-chair version? The only difference is the seat and backrest finish: HPL outlasts lacquer, tolerates wet cleaning better and pays off where furniture sees the heaviest use.

How does the set handle daily wet cleaning? Very well: the chairs' HPL surfaces and the laminated worktop with PVC edging are unafraid of water and detergents, while the powder enamel protects the steel frames from corrosion.
