School Set on Square Tube No.4-6, Desk and Skid-Base Chair

The square-tube set No.4–6 consists of a desk with a shelf and front screen and a skid-base chair — a reliable option for middle and senior classes, where furniture takes significant daily loads. The chair's skid frame rests on the floor along the entire length of its runners: it does not tip over, does not dent linoleum with point loads and slides easily under the desk after lessons.

The desktop with rounded corners is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard with 1 mm PVC edging; the screen and the textbook shelf are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard. The frame is welded from 25×25 and 20×20 mm square tube with 1.2 mm walls; the height adjusts with bolts through the frame and leg holes fitted with a plastic transition sleeve, within 640–760 mm. The chair has a 380×360 mm seat and a 380×200 mm backrest of 8.5–9.5 mm bent-glued plywood under clear water-based lacquer; the front edge of the seat is rounded, the seat depth is adjustable, and the height range is 380–460 mm according to groups No.4–6.

All metal parts are powder-coated, and the tube ends are closed with plastic caps to protect flooring and keep students safe. Is there storage for textbooks? Yes, a 16 mm chipboard shelf sits under the desktop — bags and notebooks do not occupy the work surface, and the front screen hides them from the blackboard side.
