School Set: Mobile Desk No.3-5 and T-Frame Chair No.(2)3-5

This set of a mobile hexagonal desk and a lightweight T-frame chair is designed for classrooms where the space is frequently rearranged: New Ukrainian School classes, STEM labs, group work zones. Thanks to the worktop shape, 10 desks form a circle 2.82 m in diameter, while furniture castors built into the front legs let students or a teacher reconfigure the room in minutes.

The worktop, made of 18 mm laminated chipboard with 1 mm PVC edging, consists of two sections: the one closest to the student can be set horizontally or at an angle, while the far section always stays horizontal — convenient for textbooks and a tablet. There is a cup hole, a pen tray and backpack hooks on the side crossbars. The knock-down desk frame is made of d32 and d25 mm round tube and 30×15 mm flat-oval tube, with growth group markings for height control. The chair weighs only 2.96 kg: the seat and backrest of bent-glued plywood are covered with wear-resistant 0.4–0.5 mm HPL, the frame is d32/d25 mm round tube with a 30×15 mm crossbar, and the height adjusts within groups No.(2)3–5.

All metal parts are powder-coated, and the tube ends are closed with plastic caps that protect flooring and are safe for children. How many desks are needed to form a circle for group work? Ten: the worktop design is calculated so that 10 desks form a full circle 2.82 m in diameter — ideal for discussions and project-based lessons.

Does the desk roll away while students write? No: castors are fitted only in the front legs, while the rear supports with plastic caps rest on the floor. To move the desk, simply tilt it slightly onto the castors.

What age is this set designed for? Growth groups No.3–5 roughly cover students from 130 to 175 cm tall, and the chair with its No.(2)3–5 range also fits younger pupils — we can advise the exact group based on student height.
