School Desk, Single Student Desk with Shelf for Height Groups 4-7

This single student desk with a shelf for height groups 4–7 is built for middle and senior school, where furniture must withstand intensive daily use. The model stands out with its extended tabletop depth of 589 mm and a reinforced flat-oval profile frame — the desk stays stable even with active use by teenagers.

The ergonomic tabletop with rounded corners is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard edged with impact-resistant 2 mm PVC banding; the panel and shelf have a 0.5 mm edge. The frame is welded from flat-oval tubes 50×30, 38×20 and 30×15 mm and a round d25 mm tube with a powder coating. The height is repositioned with bolts through the frame holes with a plastic transition sleeve at 640, 700, 760 and 820 mm. A bag hook is fixed on the side post, and plastic end caps cover the tube ends. The desk comes with rounded, injury-safe head bolts — no sharp protrusions on the frame.

Why is a flat-oval frame better than a regular round tube? The 50×30 mm profile is stiffer against bending, so this 13.6 kg desk does not wobble and keeps its geometry through years of use in senior classes.

Are the fasteners safe for students? Yes, the desk is assembled with rounded, injury-safe bolts, and the tube ends are closed with plastic caps — clothing cannot snag on the frame and there is nothing to scratch against.

Can chairs be purchased to match? Yes, we will select student chairs in the same height groups 4–7 and frame colour so the classroom looks uniform; on request we will prepare a bundled offer.
