School Desk, Single Student Desk with Shelf, Height Groups 3-6

This single student desk with a shelf covers height groups 3–6, from junior to middle grades, so the same desk "grows" with the student. The model's main advantage is the cutout in the tabletop.

The tabletop with corners rounded on all four sides features a pencil groove and a hole for a stationery cup. A modesty panel with a book shelf is mounted between the metal frames, and a bag hook is fixed on the side post. The wooden parts are made of 16 mm laminated chipboard: the tabletop and shelf are edged with 1 mm PVC, the panel with 0.5 mm. The frame is assembled from flat-oval tubes 50×30, 38×20 and 30×15 mm and round tubes d32 and d25 mm with a powder coating. The height is repositioned with bolts through the frame holes with a plastic transition sleeve at 580, 640, 700 and 760 mm; plastic end caps on the tube ends protect the floor.

What does the cutout do? The cutout lets the student sit right up to the work surface without leaning forward — the elbows are supported across the full width of the desk.

Where does the student keep textbooks and a backpack? There is a shelf on the panel under the tabletop for books and notebooks, and a bag hook on the side post — the aisles between desks stay clear.
