School Desk, Single Student Desk with Tilt Adjustment, Groups 3-5

This single student desk with tilt adjustment for height groups 3–5 is aimed primarily at primary school and the early middle grades. The model's main distinction is its two-section tabletop: the part facing the student tilts to the required angle, while the far strip always stays horizontal, so the stationery cup, books and small items do not slide off when working at an angle.

The working section's angle is changed by a ratchet-type mechanism in steps of up to 3° within 0°–16°, with limiters for safe use by students. The horizontal strip has a cup hole on the right, a pencil groove in the centre and holes for a book holder; all holes are protected by plastic sleeves against dirt and moisture. The knock-down frame is made of flat-oval steel tubes 50×30, 38×20 and 30×15 mm with a d25 mm crossbar (1.2 mm wall) and finished with powder coating. The joints use a through bolt-and-nut tie with a cap nut fixed inside the tube — the fastening does not come loose from rocking. Bag hooks are fitted on both sides, and the height group is read from the colour marking on the right post. The wooden elements are 16–18 mm laminated chipboard with 1 and 0.5 mm PVC edging; the bolts have a rounded, injury-safe shape.

Why is a two-section top more convenient than a solid tilting one? The horizontal strip stays level at any angle of the working section: the stationery cup, books and a tablet remain in place and do not slide onto the floor.

Will the frame loosen after a few years? The joints use a bolt-and-nut tie with a cap nut fixed inside the tube — the assembly does not unscrew under daily loads and is easy to retighten if needed.

Which grades does the 3–5 range suit? Heights of 580–700 mm cover primary school and grades 5–6; for older students we offer a similar model for groups 4–7.
