School Desk, Single Student Desk with Tilt Adjustment, Group 3-6

The school desk with tilt adjustment for growth groups 3–6 is a single desk aimed primarily at primary and middle school: the height range starts at 580 mm, so the model grows with the student from the junior grades. The desktop tilts to eight positions from 0° to 16°, letting you set a comfortable angle separately for writing, reading or drawing, and at only 10.5 kg the desk is easy to move around when rearranging the classroom.

The ergonomically shaped desktop has rounded corners and a cut-out on the student's side that allows a deeper seating position and supports correct posture. There is a cup hole on the right, a pencil tray in the centre and holes for a book stand (the book stand and cup are purchased separately). The tilt angle is changed by a height-adjuster-type mechanism in steps of up to 3° with safety stops. The knock-down frame is made of round steel tube d32 and d25 mm (1.2 mm wall) with powder coating; the brackets and plates are galvanised steel. The height is fixed by a through bolt-and-nut tie with the cap nut inside the tube, and the colour growth-group marking is visible through a window in the frame. Wooden parts are 16 mm laminated chipboard with PVC edging; all fasteners are safe half-round screws.

How safe is the tilt adjustment for younger students? The mechanism works in steps of up to 3° and has stops: the desktop locks only in the preset positions and cannot drop suddenly, and all fixings use half-round injury-safe screws.
