School Desk, Single Student Desk with Tilt Adjustment, Group 4-7

The school desk with tilt adjustment is a single student desk for middle and senior grades, growth groups 4–7. Its key advantage is the two-section desktop: the working part on the student's side tilts to eight positions from 0° to 16° (0°, 3°, 5°, 7°, 9°, 12°, 14°, 16°), while the rear section always stays horizontal, keeping the cup with stationery and textbooks firmly in place. A tilted work surface reduces strain on the eyes and posture during writing and reading.

The tilt angle is changed by a height-adjuster-type mechanism in steps of up to 3°, with safety stops that prevent the desktop from dropping suddenly onto a student's fingers. The ergonomically shaped desktop with rounded corners has a cup hole on the right, a pencil tray in the centre and holes for a book stand. The knock-down frame is welded from flat-oval steel tubes 50×30, 38×20 and 30×15 mm with a d25 mm crossbar (1.2 mm wall) and powder-coated. The height of 640–820 mm is fixed by a through bolt-and-nut tie with the cap nut hidden inside the tube, so it cannot work loose. A window in the lower frame shows the colour marking of growth groups, bag hooks are fitted on both sides, and the holes are protected by plastic bushings against dirt and moisture. Wooden parts are 16/18 mm laminated chipboard with PVC edging; all fasteners are safe half-round screws.

Is the tilt mechanism safe for students? Yes: the adjustment works like a height adjuster with built-in stops, so the desktop locks only in the preset positions and cannot fall suddenly onto hands.

Will the desk work loose during the school year? The height is fixed by a through tie with a cap nut inside the tube — it does not unscrew from vibration, and the knock-down frame can easily be retightened if needed.

Where do students put bags and textbooks? There are bag hooks on both sides of the frame, a shelf under the desktop, and the horizontal section has a pencil tray, a cup hole and holes for mounting a book stand.
