School Desk, Hexagonal Student Desk, Gr. 4-7

The hexagonal student desk, groups 4–7, is a modular model for modern classrooms: the six-sided desktops dock edge to edge into honeycombs, pairs, rows or large islands for teamwork. At the same time, each desk remains a full single workplace with a modesty panel and a bag hook, so the room works equally well for regular lessons and group formats.

The hexagonal ergonomic desktop with rounded corners is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard, with all wooden edges finished in 2 mm PVC banding. A modesty panel sits between the metal frames, with a hook on the side post. The frame is welded from round tubes 32 and 25 mm in diameter and powder-coated; plastic end caps protect the floor and the students. The height adjusts with screws through the frame and leg holes with a plastic transition sleeve in four positions: 640 mm (group 4), 700 mm (group 5), 760 mm (group 6), 820 mm (group 7).

The model meets sanitary requirements for school furniture and is convenient for tender specifications: one SKU covers both individual workplaces and reconfigurable group zones for grades 5–11. How do the hexagonal desks combine? The desktops dock on any side: two desks make a working pair, three to six form a "flower" or a large group island. The layout changes in minutes without tools.

How does this model differ from the 900×550 mm group-work desk? The hexagonal desk is more compact, covers a wider range of growth groups (4–7 versus 4–6) and has a modesty panel, so it works better as an everyday primary workplace.

Can different heights be set for different students in one class? Yes: each desk adjusts independently across four positions from 640 to 820 mm, so the furniture is fitted to actual student height on site.
