The single anti-scoliosis student desk is designed to help prevent posture disorders in primary and middle school pupils — the tilted section of the tabletop encourages correct body positioning while writing and reading.
The tabletop consists of two panels: a horizontal one measuring 600x120 mm with a cup hole and mounting for a plastic pencil case, and a tilted one measuring 600x450 mm angled at 8° to the horizontal, with a cutout on the pupil's side sized 300 mm radius and 85 mm depth. The tabletop corners are rounded with a 20 mm radius, the panel edges are finished with PVC banding at least 2 mm thick, and other chipboard elements with a 0.45 mm band. The tabletop, front screen and shelf beneath it are made of beech-coloured chipboard 16 mm thick, emission class E1, assembled on a metal frame with tie screws. The frame is made of round steel tube Ø27x1.2 mm with a minimal number of welds and a wear-resistant powder coating; the ski feet are made of polyethylene, and bag hooks are provided on both sides.
Desk height is adjustable by growth groups — 580, 640, 700 or 760 mm (groups 3 through 6). The desk meets DSTU GOST 22046:2004, with geometry and dimensions per DSTU prEN 1729-1:2004 and safety per DSTU ENV 1729-2:2004. The steel frame is available in green, brown and grey.
