Anti-scoliosis table-desk double

The anti-scoliosis two-seat desk is designed for classrooms where developing correct posture during writing and reading matters. The sloped section of the desktop supports an anatomically correct body position and reduces strain on the spine during long study sessions.

The desktop consists of two panels: a horizontal one measuring 1200x120 mm and a sloped one measuring 1200x450 mm, tilted at 8° to the horizontal plane. The horizontal panel has two 55 mm diameter cup holes (with polyethylene inserts) on the left and right, plus two polyethylene pencil trays. The sloped panel has two cut-outs for students with a 300 mm radius and 85 mm depth, and the panel corners are rounded with a 20 mm radius. The panels and screen are made from "beech" coloured chipboard 16 mm thick, emission class E1; panel edges are finished in PVC at least 1 mm thick, other element edges in 0.45 mm.

The metal frame is made from round steel tube Ø27x1.2 mm with a minimal number of welds and coated with wear-resistant powder enamel; support "shoes" and end caps are made of polyethylene, and bag hooks are fitted on both sides. Desk height (measured at the horizontal panel) adjusts to four growth groups — 580, 640, 700 and 760 mm. The desk complies with DSTU GOST 22046:2004, its geometry and dimensions follow DSTU prEN 1729-1:2004, and safety follows DSTU ENV 1729-2:2004.
