Double student table with rounded corners

The two-seat student desk with rounded corners is designed for classrooms where extra safety matters during active study time. The rounded desktop shape reduces the risk of injury from accidental contact with the furniture in a crowded classroom.

The desktop, front screen and shelf under the desktop are made from "beech" coloured chipboard 16 mm thick, emission class E1. The desktop edge is finished in PVC at least 2 mm thick, while the shelf and screen edges are 0.45 mm. The 1200x500 mm desktop is mounted on a metal frame made from round steel tube Ø27x1.2 mm using tie screws; the frame, with a minimal number of welds, is coated with wear-resistant powder enamel. Support "shoes" and end caps are made of polyethylene, and bag hooks are fitted on both sides.

Desk height adjusts to four growth groups — 580, 640, 700 and 760 mm. The desk complies with DSTU GOST 22046:2004, its geometry and dimensions follow DSTU prEN 1729-1:2004, and safety follows DSTU ENV 1729-2:2004.
