Single Student Desk without Shelf, Gr. 4-7

The single student desk without a shelf is a model for flexible learning spaces. Thanks to the special desktop shape, nine of these desks form a full circle: a traditional classroom turns into a teamwork, training or interactive-lesson zone in minutes, and just as quickly returns to a row layout.

The 740×490 mm desktop is made of 18 mm laminated chipboard with all edges finished in 1 mm PVC banding. A modesty panel is fitted between the metal frames, and bag hooks are mounted on the side posts. The frame is welded from round tubes 32 and 25 mm in diameter and powder-coated. The height adjusts within growth groups 4–7 (640, 700, 760, 820 mm) with screws through the frame and leg holes, joined by a plastic transition sleeve. Plastic end caps on the tube ends protect the floor and prevent injuries.

How many desks make a circle? Nine desks form a full circle. Fewer desks create arcs and semicircles — handy for discussion zones and small-group work.

Can the desks be used separately, in regular rows? Yes, each is a full single workplace with a modesty panel and a bag hook; the desktop shape does not interfere with a standard row layout.

How is the height adjusted and who can do it? Adjustment is screw-based, through the frame holes with a plastic sleeve; a facilities manager resets a desk with ordinary tools in a few minutes, with positions matching groups 4–7.
