Canteen Chair with Plastic Monoblock

This canteen chair with a plastic monoblock is a model for school and institutional canteens, buffets and dining areas. Unlike plywood student chairs, the seat and backrest here form a single moulded polypropylene monoblock: it is moisture resistant, easy to wash and disinfect, and the design is built for daily intensive use in rooms that are cleaned frequently.

The monoblock has a lightly textured surface — it is not slippery and hides small scratches, while the rounded, smooth corners prevent damage to clothing and injuries. The frame is welded from a metal tube 20 mm in diameter and at least 1.5 mm thick, fixed to the monoblock with a hex screw and powder coated. All ends of the metal parts are closed with plastic caps that protect the floor.
