Cantilever School Chair on Round Tube, Height Group No. 6

This cantilever school chair on a round tube is a fixed-size student seat for height group No. 6, intended for middle-school pupils. Unlike T-shaped models with height adjustment, it has a continuous skid frame: instead of separate legs, curved runners run along the bottom, so the chair is more stable on uneven floors, does not wobble and is easy to lift onto the desk during classroom cleaning.

The seat and backrest are made of bent-glued plywood 8.5–9.5 mm thick and finished with a clear, eco-friendly water-based lacquer. The corners of the seat and backrest and the front edge are rounded, which reduces the risk of injury and does not damage clothing. The frame is welded from a round tube 25×1.2 mm with a powder coating; the backrest and seat are fixed to the frame with screws and nuts. Plastic caps on the ends of the runners protect the floor and prevent injuries.
