Cantilever School Chair on Round Tube, No. 6, HPL

This cantilever (skid-base) school chair on a round tube with HPL coating (article 191212 HPL) is a fixed model of height group No. 6, with a seat height of 460 mm. Its feature is the skid base of the frame instead of separate legs: solid runners rest on a larger floor area, give the chair stability and allow the units to be stacked neatly during cleaning.

The seat and backrest are made of bent-glued plywood 8.5-9.5 mm thick and faced with HPL laminate 0.4-0.5 mm thick, resistant to moisture, abrasion and washing. The corners of the seat and backrest and the front edge of the seat are rounded, which prevents injuries and snagged clothing. The frame is welded from a round tube 25x1.2 mm with a powder coating; the backrest and seat are fixed to the frame with screws and nuts. Plastic end caps on the frame protect the floor and prevent injuries.

As the chair is of fixed group No. 6, it is optimal for classes and rooms where students are of the same height, as well as for reading rooms and other spaces.
