T-Shaped School Chair, Groups No. 3-6, Flat-Oval Tube, HPL Coated

This T-shaped school chair on a flat-oval tube with HPL coating is a more wear-resistant version of the secondary-school model (height groups No. (3)4-6). Unlike the lacquered variant, the seat and backrest here are covered with HPL plastic 0.4–0.5 mm thick: the surface resists scratches, moisture and disinfection better, wipes clean easily and keeps its appearance longer in classrooms with heavy use.

The T-shaped frame is welded from flat-oval tubes 50×30×1.2 mm, 38×20×1.2 mm and 30×15×1.2 mm with a powder coating. The seat height sets to 380, 430 and 460 mm with screws through the frame holes, and the seat is also adjustable in depth. The base of the seat (380×360 mm) and backrest (380×200 mm) is bent-glued plywood 8.5–9.5 mm with rounded corners. Plastic caps on the frame ends protect the floor and prevent injuries.
