Height-Adjustable T-Shaped School Chair, Groups No. (2)3-5, HPL Coated

This height-adjustable T-shaped school chair with HPL coating is a more wear-resistant version of the primary-class model (height groups No. (2)3-5). The key difference from the lacquered plywood variant is that the seat and backrest are covered with HPL plastic 0.4–0.5 mm thick: this surface resists scratches, moisture and disinfection better, wipes clean easily and keeps its appearance longer in classrooms with heavy use.

The T-shaped frame is welded from flat-oval tubes 50×30×1.2 mm, 38×20×1.2 mm and 30×15×1.2 mm with a powder coating. The seat height sets to 310, 350, 380 and 430 mm with screws through the frame holes, so the chair fits children roughly 1150 to 1750 mm tall; the seat is also adjustable in depth. The base of the seat (360×320 mm) and backrest (360×180 mm) is bent-glued plywood 8.5–9.5 mm with rounded corners. Plastic caps on the frame ends protect the floor and prevent injuries.
