Height-Adjustable T-Shaped School Chair, Groups No. (4)5-7, HPL Coated

This height-adjustable T-shaped school chair No. (4)5-7 with HPL coating is a student model for senior classes with a wear-resistant seat. The height sets to 380, 430, 460 and 510 mm, matching height groups No. (4)5-7 and covering pupils roughly 1450 mm tall and above. A single chair adjusts to a pupil's growth and serves for several years without replacement.

The seat (400×400 mm) and backrest (400×200 mm) are made of bent-glued plywood 8.5–9.5 mm and covered with HPL plastic 0.4–0.5 mm thick — the surface resists scratches, moisture and disinfection and wipes clean easily. The frame is welded from flat-oval tubes 30×15×1.2 mm, 38×20×1.2 mm and 50×30×1.2 mm with a powder coating. The height is locked with a through screw-and-nut tie and a cap nut held inside the tube, so the fastening does not unscrew as the chair is rocked; the lower part of the frame on the pupil's side has a round window with the height-group marking. The seat is also adjustable in depth; the tube ends have plastic caps.
