School Chair with Plywood Monoblock

This school chair with a plywood monoblock (article 48470) is a model with a backrest for the canteen, assembly hall and other common spaces of an educational institution. The design is based on a solid plywood monoblock, where the backrest and seat form one jointless part, so the chair has no elements that loosen and the surface is easy to wipe.

The wooden part is made of 10 mm bent-glued plywood and coated with a clear eco-friendly water-based lacquer that preserves the natural look of the wood and protects it from wear. The seat is 387 mm wide, 415 mm deep, with a seating height of 457 mm. The metal frame is made of a round tube 20x1.5 mm with a protective decorative powder coating and joined to the monoblock with rivets. Plastic end caps on the legs prevent injuries and protect the floor from scratches.

This is the lacquered version of the canteen chair — more affordable than the HPL counterpart (article 48470HPL) with the same shape and frame; the model weighs just 2.38 kg, so the chairs are easy to move.
