This chair with a plywood monoblock (article 48475) is a fixed-height model for classrooms, reading rooms, conference areas and other common spaces in educational institutions. The design is built around a single anatomical plywood monoblock: the seat and backrest form one jointless part, which simplifies cleaning and improves durability compared with assembled seats.
The monoblock is made of bent-glued plywood with an anatomical profile that supports the back. The surface is coated with a wear-resistant lacquer that protects the wood from moisture and mechanical damage and keeps a neat look under heavy use. The metal frame is welded from a 22x2.0 mm tube and fixed to the monoblock with M6x30 screws; the frame is powder coated. Plastic end caps on the metal ends protect the floor from scratches.
