The Liebherr BKv 5040 refrigerator is built specifically for storing dough, semi-finished products and finished baked goods on standard 600×400 mm bakery trays. This format suits central school-catering kitchens, kindergarten and hospital kitchens where baking is part of the in-house food production.
Inside the cabinet there are 10 pairs of chrome-nickel steel trayslides for cross-wise tray loading, all height-adjustable, allowing flexible spacing between tiers for different tray sizes. Forced-air circulation ensures even cooling in the +2°C to +15°C range, and automatic defrost removes the need for manual maintenance. Control is mechanical, with a rotary knob and an external digital temperature display, so staff can check the setting without opening the door.
