The Picoblock SL05E0000 is a low-temperature split refrigeration system for a 6.3 m³ chamber, made up of separate outdoor and indoor units. Unlike a monoblock, the outdoor unit of a split system can be located outside the room housing the chamber.
This model uses electric defrost. The manufacturer also offers the SL05G0000 with hot-gas defrost and higher cooling capacity thanks to a shorter defrost cycle. The split system comes with the pipe and wiring set needed to connect the two units.

The SL05E0000 split system suits low-temperature chambers in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens where it is structurally more convenient to place the outdoor unit outside the room housing the chamber — for example, on a technical platform or roof.
Compared with a monoblock mounted directly on the chamber wall, the split design gives more flexibility when planning the layout of refrigeration equipment in the kitchen.
