UBC Prima Chest Freezer, 340 L, -18…-25°C

The UBC Prima chest freezer is designed for storing meat, fish, semi-finished products, ice cream and other deep-frozen food in school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens and other facilities that need a stable low-temperature stock of food. Its 340-litre capacity is enough to hold a sufficient supply for daily meal preparation in a medium-sized institution.

The inner shell of the freezer is made of aluminium, and the outer body of galvanized steel, which provides resistance to moisture and mechanical loads during daily use in a food service kitchen. The 60 mm insulation layer, based on polyurethane foam with cyclopentane as a blowing agent, keeps the internal temperature in the -18…-25°C range. Climate class 7 means the freezer keeps its performance even in rooms with elevated ambient temperature, which matters for kitchens and storerooms with limited ventilation. The R290 refrigerant and a 1/2 HP compressor deliver energy consumption of 3.9 kWh per day. The standard configuration includes 4 baskets for organised storage of different types of food. External dimensions are 956×1076×640 mm without packaging and 998×1076×677 mm with packaging.
