The BREMA VM500A modular ice maker produces up to 200 kg of ice per day and is designed to work together with a separate storage bin — the unit itself makes the ice, while accumulation and dispensing happen in a compatible BREMA bin. This setup suits kitchens of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other institutions where ice storage volume is chosen separately to match kitchen needs.
A vertical evaporator system produces small Fast Ice fragments around 7 g in size, which chill drinks and food quickly and are easy to transport and portion. The body is made of 18/8 stainless steel with a Scotch Brite finish, the condenser is air-cooled, installation is floor-standing, and the refrigerant is R452A. The unit is compatible with the Bin 200, Bin 240PE, Bin 350 and DRB 100 storage bins, allowing the storage volume to be matched to a specific kitchen.
