The EWT INOX BFC25 blast freezer is designed for the rapid chilling and freezing of cooked dishes and semi-finished products right after heat treatment. Quickly passing through the temperature zone where bacteria multiply helps preserve food quality and safety for longer — an important factor for school, kindergarten and hospital kitchens, which are subject to strict sanitary rules for food preparation and storage.
The unit holds 5 GN 1/1 pans or trays measuring 600×400 mm, with a working chamber of 610×410×410 mm and 70 mm spacing between loading levels. The body and interior surface of the chamber are made of stainless steel, which simplifies daily cleaning and disinfection. Defrosting is automatic, and the refrigerant is R404. The unit runs on a 220 V power supply.
